Virtual Web Hosting

The CCC provides a virtual web hosting facility for securely hosting all websites of the form https://abc.nitc.ac.in. 

Services available:

• Apache / Nginx web server, with PHP8.2 and MySQL/MariaDB.
• SSL certificate.
• SFTP Access.

Steps for getting a web domain of the form abc.nitc.ac.in are as follows:

• The faculty-in-charge needs to file a request to facultyincharge_cnc_ccc@nitc.ac.in & toccc@nitc.ac.in, using NITC email, with the details of:
• The required domain name 
• Faculty contact 
• The purpose of the website
• Database access, whether required
• The faculty member will be notified once the process is over, which typically takes 2 working days.
